Nadia Pavlova
|
Nadia is a passionate physiotherapist with a special interest in upper limb rehabilitation. Her interest began through work with gymnasts and climbers, requiring a creative problem solving approach to modify training rather than stopping it all together.
Nadia graduated from Monash Univeristy with Honours in 2018 and is both a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and an Associate Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA). She has supported athletes from recreational to elite levels across various sports including working closely with youth athletes. This has given her a strong understanding of long-term athletic development (LTAD) including key considerations around growth spurts, load monitoring and the importance of strong movement foundations to support longevity in any sport.
Her approach focuses on exploring what you can do to work around your injury as we know how frustrating it can be to take time away from your favourite sport. She combines her experience across multiple movement disciplines to help dedicated athletes who want more than vague rehab advice by setting objective milestones to guide progress in their rehab.
Whether you are managing a sprain, fracture, shoulder niggle or persistent finger problem, Nadia aims to help you rebuild strength and confidence to once more perform at your best.
When shes's not in the clinic, you'll usually find her bouldering, rolling on the BJJ mats or off on a spontaneous outdoor adventure with her partner in their CRV.
